Whose Shoes?

Have you ever wondered what happened to Cinderella’s shoes?

Why did they end up at the bottom of a lake?

Mike Kenny’s madcap character IMELDA BAGLADY tells the story of their rescue with puppets, music and magic.

“...absolutely fantastic play! I have never seen such young children so captivated...”

Head of a Nursery School, Harrogate

Eldamina loves to dance. She loves to dance so much that Cinderella even gave her the famous glass slippers to dance in. Eldamina dances for anyone who will watch.

The arrival of a new baby sister shatters her enjoyment, especially when she discovers that the baby sister will one day inherit her beloved glass slippers. In a rage, Eldamina throws her shoes to the bottom of a lake."If I can't have them, then nobody can!"

Find out what Eldamina does next, the journey she takes and how far she will go to get her shoes back.

A delicious piece of theatre, the story incorporates many themes such as sibling rivalry, jealousy and facing up to one’s actions.

“…I loved the blend of music, speech, puppets and action – it’s a true theatre experience and the children were with it every inch of the way..."

Susie Spence, playwright
